Winemaker Dinner: Coursey Graves & Thomas House
UNCORK FOR HOPE FOUNDATION AND COURSEY GRAVES HOST WINEMAKER DINNER TO BENEFIT THOMAS HOUSE FAMILY SHELTER
IRVINE, Calif. – APRIL 11, 2018 – The Uncork for Hope Foundation joined forces with winemaker Cabell Coursey of Coursey Graves Winery to host an exclusive wine-pairing dinner to support the Thomas House Family Shelter. The organization was selected by Uncork for Hope as a partner charity and grant recipient to create new programs in 2018.
The dinner was held at North Italia in Irvine, CA and drew an elite reception of Orange County business leaders and philanthropists who care deeply about helping the at-risk children of Southern California. The dinner began with a welcome reception, followed by a 4-course dinner in the private dining room, and finished with guest speakers from the Uncork for Hope Foundation Board of Directors and the Thomas House Family Shelter Executive Director. Throughout the event, guests had the opportunity to engage with winemaker Cabell Coursey and representatives from both non-profit organizations.
“The Winemaker Dinner provided a unique opportunity for Thomas House to engage with individuals who are passionate about helping at-risk youth,” said Natalie Julien, Executive Director, Thomas House Family Shelter. “We are extremely grateful for the support from Uncork for Hope and look forward to partnering to create new programs that provide at-risk youth with the opportunity to excel.”
Uncork for Hope will continue to be a catalyst to build synergies between organizations to go beyond what they would do alone. The Foundation’s signature event will be held on May 6, 2018 at 2pm at the Center Club of Orange County. Each year the event draws close to 300 guests to enjoy wine tasting from prominent California winemakers, fine food, and silent/live auctions. This year’s signature event will honor former NFL player and philanthropist Vince Ferragamo as the Champion of Hope and proceeds from the event will support at-risk youth.
